The West gate Terror attack.

extremists, Al-Shabaab, have denied any
involvement of a woman including the
suspected “white widow”, Samantha Lewthwaite,
in the Westgate terror attack in Nairobi.
This comes after President Uhuru Kenyatta, and
Foreign Affair Cabinet Secretary, Amina
Mohammed confirmed that indeed a British
woman terror suspect, Samantha Lewthwaite,
may have been involved in the attack, after
many of the survivors recounted that they saw
a woman who was leading the operation.
However, on their Twitter account, the Al-
Shabaab militants denied that they can’t send a
woman on such a mission because they have
enough dedicated young men, including
Kenyans, to send to such suicide missions.

of young men who are fully committed and we
do not employ our sisters to such military
operations.
According to Government records, 69 people
among them 6 soldiers died in the Westgate
attack while 175 were wounded. Six Al-Shabaab
assailants were also killed in the gunfire.
