Mombasa has a choice of nightclubs, bars and
clubs on the North and South Coast. Many beach
hotels have their own clubs.
IL Covo
A very popular bar and restaurant by Bamburi
Beach Hotel, it offers a wide array of drinks and

has a couple of pool tables. Il Covo screens live
football and rugby action on their Big Screen.
Mamba International Night Club
Situated in Nyali by Nyali Golf Club, the club
boasts 13 bars. Saturday is the best night to visit
the club, especially if you love rap, reggae, dance
and African music.
Casablanca
The most popular nightclub in Mombasa, it's
located in the city centre. The nightclub has two
floors, with bars and private rooms on the first
floor and a discotheque and an "open air
balcony" on the second floor.
Tembo entertainment plaza
Located on Bamburi beach, it opens early to
enjoy a sundowner drink and dancing.
Florida
One of the earliest nightclubs in Kenya, it is close
to Likoni Ferry and has unlimited views of the
Indian Ocean. It has several bars and is known
for its genial atmosphere, good music and some
great dancers.
77(Saba Saba)
Situated on the cross roads of Kenyatta avenue
and Ronald Ngala Street, the bar cum nightclub
has a sign reading 77. But everyone knows the
place by its Kiswahili translation Saba Saba (seven
seven).
